Dolce Vita
Timeless Coastal Living in Sailfish Point
Designed and furnished by Splendid Home Design
Builder: Tower Construction
Photography: The J Projects
Inspired by the phrase la dolce vita, meaning “the sweet life,” this Sailfish Point residence was designed to embody ease, comfort, and understated elegance. Located in one of Stuart, Florida’s most exclusive waterfront communities, the condo reflects a refined approach to coastal living.
Kitchen – Quietly Sophisticated
The kitchen was designed as a clean, modern anchor for the home, featuring rift-sawn white oak cabinetry in a slim shaker profile. A partial waterfall island adds sculptural interest while maintaining an open, livable feel. Natural stone surfaces and thoughtful lighting selections elevate the space without overwhelming it. Professional-grade Thermador appliances were integrated seamlessly for both performance and aesthetics.
Bar – The Art of Entertaining
The bar area offers a rich contrast to the kitchen with deeper tones and a more intimate mood. Stone countertops and a detailed backsplash add texture and visual depth. Integrated refrigeration includes a Thermador beverage unit and Scotsman icemaker, making the space ideal for entertaining. Comfortable seating invites guests to linger.
Living Room – Comfort and Composition
The living room centers around a striking slab fireplace paired with a sleek electric insert for effortless ambiance. Vintage accents, including antique diving helmets, bring character and a collected feel. Plush seating and swivel chairs allow for flexible conversation and views throughout the space. The overall palette feels calm, layered, and coastal without being theme-driven.
Primary Bathroom – A Still Retreat
The primary bathroom was designed as a serene retreat with custom cabinetry and natural stone surfaces throughout. Patterned wallpaper adds depth while still maintaining a spa-like calm. Carefully selected lighting enhances both function and mood. The result is a bathroom that feels elevated, comfortable, and timeless.
Guest Bathroom – Elevated Comfort
This guest bath blends playful pattern with refined finishes for a memorable yet welcoming experience. Stone surfaces wrap the room for continuity and durability. Wallpaper adds personality without overpowering the space. Thoughtful lighting and fixtures keep the design polished and functional.
Guest Suite – For Extended Stays
The guest suite bathroom was kept soft and cohesive, echoing the material language of the primary bath. Natural stone and custom cabinetry provide a sense of quiet luxury. Wallpaper adds subtle texture and warmth. The space feels comfortable, intentional, and thoughtfully designed for extended stays.
Den – Adaptable Living
Designed as a true multi-functional space, the den serves as a lounge, guest room, and workspace. A sofa that converts to a bed allows the room to adapt effortlessly. A built-in desk tucked into the closet maximizes functionality without sacrificing aesthetics. The addition of a small hospitality bar completes the space, making it both practical and inviting.
