Tucked away on a serene ranch in Palm City, Florida, the Mount Olympus Project captures the soul of European countryside living with a distinctly Floridian warmth. Both elevated and effortless, this home is layered with texture, natural light, and old-world charm designed for modern family life.
Living Room – A Story in Stone and Light
The living room captures the soul of the home with a custom stone fireplace surrounded by arched built-ins and warm, cane-accented cabinetry. Soft lighting and layered textures bring depth and warmth, creating a space that feels refined yet inviting. The combination of natural finishes and handcrafted details sets a tone of quiet luxury—perfect for family gatherings or peaceful evenings by the fire.
Piano Wall – A Subtle Statement
This striking wall is equal parts architectural and artistic. A textured wallpaper sets the backdrop for open shelving and custom cabinetry that frame the family’s piano. The blend of pattern, depth, and tone creates an intimate vignette that feels both sophisticated and soulful—proof that simple moments of design can have the most impact.
Kitchen – The Heart of Mount Olympus
The kitchen balances utility with artistry, featuring mitered stone countertops, a custom plaster hood, and tailored cabinetry that feel at once timeless and modern. Layered lighting, panel-ready appliances, and a built-in dining nook give the space warmth and rhythm. Every element—from the apron-front sink to the handcrafted tile—was chosen to create an atmosphere of understated elegance and everyday comfort.
Pantry – Function with Flair
Behind the kitchen, the pantry continues the story of refined functionality. Custom cabinetry, natural stone counters, and statement lighting transform this hard-working space into one of quiet beauty. A soft wallpaper and textural rug introduce warmth and personality, proving that even utilitarian rooms can carry thoughtful design.
Primary Bathroom – A Serene Escape
Soft light, natural stone, and layered materials define the home’s primary bathroom. The custom vanity and mitered-edge countertop create a sense of tailored calm, while herringbone floors and subtle metallic accents add richness. The vanity wall—complete with sconces, mirrors, and a seated makeup area—invites a slow start to the day, blending luxury with livable serenity.
Cabana Bathroom – Heritage Meets Modern
This bathroom marries history and modern craftsmanship. A refinished family heirloom vanity serves as the focal point, paired with timeless natural stone and vertical shiplap walls, this cabana / powder is a space that feels personal, fresh, and full of charm.
About this Project
Mount Olympus is a celebration of craftsmanship, warmth, and lived-in luxury. Each material and finish was selected to evoke the quiet beauty of European countryside living—timeless, layered, and deeply personal. This project reflects what we love most: designing homes that tell a story and feel like they’ve been loved for generations.
